There are seven sacraments in the Church: Baptism, Penance, Eucharist, Confirmation, Marriage, Holy Orders, and Anointing of the Sick. The purpose of the sacraments is to make people holy, to build up the body of Christ, and finally, to give worship to God; but being signs, they also have a teaching function.
Baptism: Parents wishing to have a child baptized must attend one class in preparation for the Baptism. Godparents should also attend. Classes will be monthly, at 7pm, in the church office:
Please call the office to register.Classes are held in English with Fr. Nicholas Mansell. Spanish classes are held quarterly. Parents must be registered members of the parish. Baptisms may be scheduled at the class or by calling the church office. Baptisms are done only during Mass.
